Interactive Mobile Ads : Hersheys

It all started with a couple of raw assets (ingredients). Hersheys, a client of Kargo’s, wanted to remind consumers that chocolate bars were the most fundamental part of a summertime s’mores snack. I designed these banners (seen right) to bring the outdoors onto the mobile screen. With a chef’s (photoshop) kiss, I cooked up a S’mores and animated it ingredient by ingredient. With a final touch of cinemagraphic camp smoke, voila, dessert was served.

This campaign performed far beyond benchmark and led to a multi-million dollar upfront the following year. I became the designer assigned to Hersheys and helped grow the partnership across multiple brands, including Reeses, Kit Kat, Kisses, Icebreakers, Twizzler, barkTHINS & more.
